In this program, we help leaders build resilient teams and organisations.

Resilience enables high performing teams to be both challenging and collaborative. Resilient teams consistently outperform, can adapt, and build winning cultures.

PROBLEM

In an environment of increasing complexity and change, leadership is more critical than ever. People inside businesses depend on their leaders for direction, clarity, and support in navigating the challenges they face.

Yet, teams often find themselves either over-reliant on their leader for protection, which depletes resilience, or, at the other extreme, feel under-supported and overwhelmed.

Therefore, a critical challenge for leaders is building the capacity for resilience inside their teams.

Program Overview

This program works with senior leaders to build capacity to lead for resilience.

We believe that building a leaders’ own self-awareness and capacity for resilience is fundamental for developing this in others. This is our starting point.

This program works with leaders from the inside out, transforming capability to build and support resilience, under three core pillars:

  1. Building personal resilience, awareness, and the capacity to lead in complexity.

  2. Growing psychologically safe teams for sustained performance.

  3. Tools and tactics for building team and organisational resilience.

Format

We take a co-design approach, meaning each version of this program is tailored to the specific organisation in which it is delivered.

However as a general guide, the program combines pre-program work, plenary “deep dive” sessions, group coaching, and individual coaching sessions.

We offer 3-month, 6-month and 10-month versions of this program.

Coaching Sessions

The coaching sessions address participants’ specific leadership challenges, drawing on the workshop content to support participants’ in their leadership practice.

These sessions are participant-driven and provide a confidential forum for leaders to air and address some of their biggest challenges, as well as reflect on how they have applied learnings from the workshop in their leadership practice.

Support Resources

Workshop participants receive:

  • A workbook to support in-session learning and ongoing practice.

  • Access to online guided mindfulness practices to support ongoing practice.

  • Follow-up web-based support on an as-needs basis.

+ Impact Survey

Subject to your preferences, we deliver a brief (approx. 5 minute) ‘impact survey’ (measuring performance and wellbeing), to be completed by course participants prior to, immediately following, and 2 months after the training.

Leading with Resilience - Outcomes

Specifically, pre-post evaluations have shown that this program is associated with:

• Increased staff work engagement

• Improved proactive problem-solving

• Enhanced conflict management

• Reduced staff turnover intentions

Participants walk away from this program with greater capacity for personal resilience, and with a range of tools and tactics for growing resilience within their own teams and organisation.
