Our Mission
Our mission is to help leaders develop self-awareness and purpose, to do their very best work.
Through our leadership development programs, coaching programs, and workshops, our purpose is to develop leadership excellence. To do this, we focus on the ‘inner ingredients’ of excellence:
Mental clarity
Resilience
Authenticity
We help develop three core leadership attributes:
MENTAL CLARITY
In our always-on, hyper-connected world, leaders often struggle to manage the demands of 24/7 access to technology, information overload, and a multi-tasked, reactive way of working.
Working in this way undermines performance and results in fatigue, black-and-white thinking and the inability to switch-off (known as the Attention Deficit Trait).
We enhance skills in:
‘stepping back’ from complex, stressful situations to see multiple perspectives;
‘unhooking’ cognitive biases and rigid approaches to problems;
reducing reactivity and impulsive responding to challenges and change.
RESILIENCE
Change and ambiguity can feel threatening. They can result in defensiveness, disengagement, and, over time, chronic stress.
This stress is often a precursor to absenteeism and ‘presenteeism’ (decreased work-engagement).
We develop skills in resilience to:
enhance decision-making in the presence of stress
effectively engage with the challenges of organisational change and ambiguity
reduce avoidant responses to change and uncertainty
foster proactive and balanced responses to inter-personal conflict.
AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP
In times of change and uncertainty, a key challenge for leaders is retaining a clear sense of personal authenticity and integrity.
Authentic leaders are more engaged, proactive and take greater responsibility for those they lead. They also feel less threatened by change.
Drawing upon the latest science of human motivation and positive psychology, we:
clarify leaders personal values and embed these within their role.
unpack specific areas of challenge within a leaders' role
work with them to find ways of responding to these challenges with integrity and clarity.
